Herbarist Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Billing is handled entirely by Apple and Google — Calexis Labs never processes your payment.
Plans
- Premium Monthly — renews every month.
- Premium Annual — renews every year, and may include an introductory free trial on the annual plan.
Premium unlocks additional identifications under fair use, creating Growth Journey entries, and other Premium capabilities. Your existing plants, photos, schedules, and Journey history remain available even if Premium lapses — a lapse only restricts new Premium actions.
Pricing
The exact price, currency, and any trial or introductory offer are shown in the App Store or Google Play at the moment of purchase, in your local currency. Because store pricing varies by region and over time, we don't publish fixed prices on this website — the price you see in your store is the price that applies.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
Managing, cancelling & restoring
Manage or cancel any time in your store account:
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Herbarist.
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Herbarist.
Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period. If you reinstall or switch devices, use Restore Purchases in the app to recover an active subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store, not by Herbarist. Request them through Apple's Report a Problem or Google Play's refund process, subject to each store's policy.
Account deletion doesn't cancel billing
Deleting your Herbarist account does not automatically cancel an active subscription, since the subscription lives in your Apple or Google account. Cancel it separately using the steps above. See Account Deletion.
